There's something about the way that they used to say it that bothered me. It wasn't the fact that I knew behind the facade that it wasn't really a joke. It wasn't that I didn't think the same thing about myself sometimes, because you can't help taking some things to heart when they're said enough. But it was just the way that they said it that bothered me the most. Because they'd have that wry smile, that goofy little smirk... the, 'oh-I'm-just-joking-I-really-am' expression. B
Or maybe not.
I can never tell if that's really good, because sometimes when you're too focused on something, then you can miss out on things around you. I guess I'm rambling now. But it's true, because when you don't take time to really see things, then you miss what they're really worth.
